Dive Sites in Bali - Gili Mimpang

Gili Mimpang.. consists of an array of smaller rocks with two prominent rocks, the larger one even boasting a sea eagle’s nest. Divers love the site since they will always find shark either moving around or resting on the sandy bottom. The steep wall in the vicinity of the smaller rocks is a place where to encounter Mola Mola (July to September) but also on abundance of smaller marine life like leaf fish, nudibranch as well as schooling fish; currents prevail here as well but since there are about 5 sites to choose from, strong currents can be avoided. Depths range from twelve to thirty meters. Mimpang is also a fine place for snorkelling.
